In 2014, Van Cleef and Arpels asked us to tell the story of their extraordinary Midnight Planetarium timepiece - a watch that shows the solar system running at its real course.

 

We came up with an experience that allows users to generate their own version of our film.

THE FILM

The poetic combination of images of the universe and of the gears of the watch.

And a final camera move to reveal that everything simply happened inside the Midnight Planetarium timepiece.

 

THE EXPERIENCE

Users can see the story of the brand intertwined with the story of the cosmos and edit their own versions of the film by adding or removing pre-created layers

(VO, images and texts) to it, making their story as poetic or scientific as they want.

 

THE EVENT

For the release of the film, we organise a party in the gardens of the Paris Observatory. The film is projected on a water screen, at night. As if directly broadcasted in the sky.
